Epic Games is overhauling how Fortnite Crew works, increasing how many V-Bucks you can earn each month.
Starting December 5, the subscription will be split into four tiers: Core, Bronze, Silver, and Gold. These are not paid tiers, but instead earned by staying subscribed, with the base tier offering 1,000 V-Bucks per month, and the Gold tier offering a maximum of 1,600 V-Bucks per month.
Your tier will be decided retroactively based on the last 12 months. So, if you've been subscribed since December 2025, you will automatically qualify for Gold, and immediately begin earning more V-Bucks per month. If you've been subscribed since June 2026, you will be placed into Silver, and so on.
While the amount of V-Bucks per month is increasing depending on your subscription length, Epic Games will no longer release Crew-exclusive skins from December. However, every Legacy Style for the Crew Packs you already own will be awarded, even if you're not currently subscribed.
Epic Games is also granting a +20% XP boost for Crew subscribers, and all party members without a subscription will earn +10% XP while playing with you. These XP boosts do not stack, "no matter how many Crew members are in the party."
OG pass ends on December 5 "witha dramatic conclusion," while Epic teases that "the next era of Fortnite OG" will release in late 2027.
99 per month and will continue to include Battle Pass, Music Pass, Lego Pass, and Rocket Pass Premium as standard. There is no mention of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, so presumably it will remain a part of the subscription.
