A Call of Duty game is permanently shutting down on Friday, November 6. Call of Duty is one of the most popular gaming franchises of all time, with new entries in the series consistently named the best-selling game every year, with very few exceptions. A big selling point of Call of Duty is the franchise's signature PvP multiplayer experience, which has gone through many changes over the years while still retaining the core experience for fans.

Some classic Call of Duty games have problems with hackers and things like that, but it's still possible to get into games, even with new entries in the series coming out every year. But while most classic Call of Duty games live on, a 2020 release is unfortunately shutting down.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and Warzone's Carry Forward content has been revealed. Here's what you get to keep in both games.
The PS4 and Xbox One version of Call of Duty: Warzone is shutting down on Friday, November 6. Call of Duty: Warzone is the premiere Call of Duty battle royale experience. Releasing during the COVID-19 pandemic, Warzone was a massive hit at the time of its launch and is still one of the most popular BRs on the market to this day. Warzone came out before PS5 or Xbox Series X/S were even a thing, so many fans spent the most time in the game on PS4 and Xbox One.
