Fallout Day 2026: Every Big Announcement from Bethesda’s Fan Event

Fallout Day, the annual celebration of all things Fallout, spanned a full five days in 2026, starting with a day dedicated to its community on Monday. Publisher Bethesda Softworks focused on giveaways, spotlights, and game announcements, making it clear that Bethesda has a lot in store for Fallout fans over the coming days, weeks, and months. The event came to an end on Friday, after a week-long series of announcements and celebrations in honor of Fallout, Bethesda's beloved post-apocalyptic franchise.

And while we're still waiting for more news on recently announced new Fallout game projects, there was plenty for Fallout 4, Fallout 76, and Fallout Shelter fans to chew on this week. Here are the big announcements from Fallout Day 2026.

Several Fallout titles will receive pet-related updates soon. Deathclaws are pretty scary-looking, but what about a baby Deathclaw? Whether you like the idea or not, it's happening, as baby Deathclaws are set to join Fallout Shelter later this year as adoptable pets.

The World Pets update is also coming to Fallout 76, marking the game's 72nd free update. With the patch, pets will no longer be confined to campgrounds. Starting Dec. 1, players will be able to take dogs, cats, Radhogs, and Deathclaws out into the world for a joint adventure. The attack stat is the same, but each species has its own unique buffs to help players on their travels.

Dogs have a great sense of smell, which is why they're able to find medical supplies during combat.
