Compounds are a unique way to earn DMZ Cash and find plenty of valuable loot in military bags, caches, and potentially even weapon lockers. These compounds will always appear at the locations shown above; however, another player might have been to this area before you, which is why it's unable to be cleared.
When you arrive at a Compound, you will be tasked with clearing it. This doesn't mean you need to pick up a broom; it just means you have to kill enough hostiles in the area to reach 100%. Upon clearing a Compound, you will earn DMZ Cash, and you will freely be able to loot the base, which often contains valued resources like Printer Ingredients (and if you're lucky) recipes and manuals.
Be warned, clearing a Compound can be loud due to the gunfire, which may draw hostile players to your location, so always be on the lookout!
