Everything Coming to HBO Max in November

Warner Bros. has revealed a hefty lineup of new additions coming to HBO Max in November. The streaming service is diving right into the holiday vibes on November 1, rolling out a spread of classic Christmas movies in addition to its annual "Yule Log" ambient videos. In the thick of the festivities, HBO Max will also be picking up solid non-festive movie marathons and recent A24 releases.

While there’s no big DC premieres this month (unless you count Clayface in theaters, which will eventually come to HBO Max), there are still some treats for the superhero-inclined. And, as always, subscribers will get access to a complicated splattering of live sports.

Check out our top picks coming to HBO Max in November or jump ahead to the full release schedule by day.

First up, what’s filling the classic HBO Sunday slot? The Pet Cemetery Murders: A Ghost Story miniseries wrapped up over the course of October, and Season 4 of The Gilded Age will take its place starting November 1.

From the creator of Downtown Abbey, The Gilded Age is a similar period-accurate drama that, as the title suggests, takes place in late-19th century New York. The new season will release one episode every Sunday through mid-December, leading up to the premiere of HBO’s new Harry Potter series.

HBO Max continues to be the streaming home for A24 releases, and the big one coming to the service in November is Tony. Matthew Johnson’s Anthony Bourdain biopic loosely adapts the first couple of chapters of Kitchen Confidential, painting a very New England picture of how the writer-chef-TV personality first fell in love with the food industry.
