Dragon Ball: 8 Attacks That Were More Dangerous Than Their Users

Part of what makes the fights in Dragon Ball so engaging is the incredible techniques and abilities on display. Of course, the series' fight choreography is unparalleled, but whenever the characters break away to unleash a powerful Ki wave or named technique, it often serves as a highlight.

Bizarrely, sometimes, the techniques themselves prove to be far more dangerous than the fighters who use them. These Dragon Ball attacks fall into this category of being deceptively powerful.

Ultra Ego is one of the best transformations in the history of Dragon Ball, and a select few shifts from other anime series could rival it.

For an attack created in the earliest days of Dragon Ball Z to still be viable in the modern power landscape of Super, it has to be exceptional. Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon is one such attack, as its unparalleled piercing power is just as formidable against universe-level foes like Cell Max as it was against weaker ones like Raditz.

As such, the Special Beam Cannon falls into the category of being more dangerous than the person using it, since the longer it's charged up, the greater its overall power output is, in which case there is nothing that can stop it. Even now, it is primarily used by Orange Piccolo and Gohan Beast, so its power is even deadlier in the current setting.

In Dragon Ball , most techniques deal tons of damage through a variety of different means. However, some have other support uses, with the Solar Flare being the best example.
