Diablo-Inspired Dark Fantasy RPG Vaelorys Out Today For Quest In Early Access

Vaelorys, a gesture-based dark fantasy RPG taking inspiration from games like Diablo and Path of Exile, is out now in Early Access for Quest.

Vaelorys features co-op multiplayer 'Diablo-style' dungeon crawling for up to eight players, an arena mode where you combat hordes of enemies, over thirty unlockable gesture-based spells, a progression system with multiple classes and builds, and owing to the Diablo roots, lots of loot to be found during runs.

Developer Spellbound Studio is still conducting playtests and seeking feedback to shape future updates with features players would like to see added. A low launch cost of $4.99 was likely priced to entice players to take a chance on the game.

Fans of the Diablo series have not had a lot of choices for VR, with the best available options being Dungeons of Eternity and Legendary Tales. A Township Tale developer Alta cancelled its co-op dungeon crawler Reave earlier this year.
