Chucky Is Officially Leaving Dead by Daylight

Dead by Daylight developer Behaviour Interactive stated that Chucky, also known as The Good Guy, will be unavailable for purchase starting November 24. Ergo, Dead by Daylight players are running out of time to buy the Chucky Chapter DLC pack on all storefronts.

Originally known as Charles Lee Ray, Chucky is the main character and overarching antagonist of the Child’s Play slasher film series. In the first Child's Play film, Chucky debuts as a ruthless serial killer who transfers his soul into a doll using voodoo magic. As of this writing, Chucky has appeared in eight feature films and an eponymous 2021 television series that ran for three seasons. In Dead by Daylight, Chucky is a Killer known as The Good Guy. He is voiced by Brad Dourif, who has portrayed the iconic killer doll in various media for nearly four decades.

One of the most popular PC horror games of the 2020s is finally coming to PlayStation 5 and just in time for the Halloween season.

Three years after Chucky was first introduced to Dead by Daylight , the diminutive Killer will soon leave The Fog. Behaviour Interactive confirmed on social media that the Chucky Chapter DLC and all associated content will be removed from all in-game and platform storefronts on Tuesday, November 24, at 11:00 AM Eastern. However, any content that was unlocked before the planned removal date will still be usable in Dead by Daylight . Ergo, Chucky will remain playable in-game even after the November 24 cutoff date, including 2v8 matches.
