Can you identify the horror game by its horrors?

You'd think someone who still screams at the sight of the Tomb Raider T-Rex wouldn't be so into horror games, but I can't help myself; I love 'em. I'm always down for a good inhuman gurgle or unnatural skitter across the floor. Creature with too many eyeballs? Sign me up. Inordinate number of hands? I'm on my way.

Want to keep testing your knowledge of gaming trivia? We've got loads more PC Gamer quizzes, on everything from healthbars to weird currencies to absurd patch notes.

That enthusiasm for terror is why I have the nervous system of a small woodland creature, but also why I can rattle off a list of favorite ghosts and ghouls like they're important historical figures. It's the perfect special interest for a PC Gamer quiz, so today I'm asking: How many horror games can you identify from a screenshot of one of their resident monstrosities?

You've got 12 minutes to face your fears and name as many games as you can from a glimpse of their ghosts, ghouls, and other unspeakable horrors. Let us know how you did in the comments, and then tell us about some of your favorite nightmare encounters.
