Boruto Is Officially Giving Naruto New Otsutsuki Power-Up

Naruto Uzumaki is the Seventh Hokage of Konoha and one of the main characters of the Boruto series. While Naruto Uzumaki is far from being the protagonist of the series, he is still an integral part of the story and perhaps the most important character in this sequel as well. Sadly, in the new Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga, Naruto Uzumaki's appearances have been very limited. This is because he has been sealed away by Kawaki in the dimension of Daikokuten.

That said, with each passing chapter, Naruto Uzumaki's return is now getting closer. Boruto's post-Mamushi arc has made Naruto's return a possibility once again, and when he does make a comeback, he has a major Otsutsuki power lined up for him already in the form of the new Shinobi Ware, which is going to give him the same capabilities as Momoshiki Otsutsuki's Rinnegan.

Naruto Uzumaki was once one of the strongest characters in the ninja world. As the Seventh Hokage, Naruto possessed strength that was rivaled only by Sasuke Uchiha. However, when the Otsutsuki clan showed up in the Boruto series, Naruto's powers were clearly not enough to take all of them down. In the battle against Jigen, which first unfolded in Boruto chapter 38 on September 20, 2019, it was clear that neither Naruto nor Sasuke were powerful enough to take these monstrously powerful enemies down.

"Naruto, this guy is seriously bad news, and we have to do whatever it takes to defeat him here and now." — Sasuke steels himself to face Jigen, Boruto Chapter #38
