Biggest Open-World Games Releasing in November 2026, Ranked

Okay, we’re almost there: GTA 6 is really launching in just a few weeks, folks. With GTA 6 quite possibly being the open-world game of this generation, the hype levels are record-high, and there’s little doubt that Rockstar will deliver. So clear your schedule to get immersed in Vice City on a scale the genre has never experienced before. It’s no secret that most companies wouldn’t even dare to compete with such a colossus, leaving September and October particularly crowded with this fall’s releases.

Still, for those few who don’t really care for GTA 6 (yes, they are among us), November actually isn’t that empty of other releases, open-world games included. For this selection, everything goes: new full launches or Early Access titles, major expansions, re-releases, etc. There are still several promising PC titles slated for November that don’t have exact dates, so we won’t include these. With that out of the way, here are open-world games to look forward to in the coming weeks, ranked by anticipation. Wait, don’t tell me you guessed #1 already!

Calling it “the biggest” might be a bit of a stretch, but for open-world RPG lovers who don’t mind dated visuals when the game is genuinely good, Gothic 3 Classic offers exactly that. The last chapter of the iconic low-fantasy open-world RPG trilogy probably needs little introduction today, so let’s just say that the series was almost as influential as The Elder Scrolls back in the day.

Gothic 3’s original release was notoriously troubled, but after all these years, the Classic package arrives with further improvements to address its rough edges.
