Upgrading your inventory will allow you to carry more items, helping you significantly with the boss fights.

In its raw form, the SMG is quite unreliable when hip-firing, as the spread rate is quite high and most of your bullets don't hit the target even if they are at close range. The Laser Pointer is a game-changer for the SMG. Not only does it help with aiming at hip-fire, but it also reduces the bullet spread.

You can find the Laser Pointer inside the room that requires a Snake key. This is the part where you give the first heart to Sunny, and then get in the elevator to reach a new club. As soon as the elevator doors open up, you find a door in front that requires a Snake key.

You will find the Snake Key by following the campaign objectives, and when you open the door, there is a locked locker inside. The code to the locker is 1952. Open it, and grab the Laser Pointer upgrade.

Laser Pointer and Drum Magazine are two SMG upgrades that you can't have enabled at the same time.
