Angry Birds 3 Trailer Reveals A Sonic The Hedgehog Cameo

Sonic The Hedgehog has been getting plenty of love in recent years with new merchandise, gaming collaborations, and a massive blockbuster film franchise. While the biggest crossover recently was Sonic's inclusion in Fortnite's Overdrive season, the blue blur is seemingly coming back far sooner than we expected.

Although it isn't a full-blown standalone release like fans have been hoping for, a recent trailer has confirmed that Sonic will, in fact, be returning to the big screen ahead of the fourth movie in the live-action franchise, which has left fans utterly shocked by the news.

As shared by DiscussingFilm on X, the newest trailer for none other than Angry Birds 3 has officially confirmed that Sonic The Hedgehog will show up with his classic longer pale arm design, which can be seen in an incredibly short clip of him running alongside Chuck in the movie.

While fans will have to wait for the full release on December 23 to see if Sonic will be an actual minor character in the film or only show up for a brief visual gag like the one teased in the trailer, fans have already been (understandably) losing their minds over the discovery.

" Some fans have also started theorizing that Sonic could even "wind up being a major character," similar to what Nintendo did for Fox McCloud in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
