Bombs are a great tool in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Remake), but obtaining them isn't as simple as spending some Rupees. To get Bombs, you'll need the Bomb Bag from Dodongo's Cavern, which in itself requires a few requirements! Below, we'll outline everything you need to do to get Bombs in the Ocarina of Time Remake.
There are three prerequisites to reach before you can get Bombs. You need to complete Princess of Hyrule Castle, get Saria's Song from the Lost Woods, and unlock the Goron Bracelet.
This guide will take you through the entirety of Dodongo's Cavern in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (remake) for every puzzle and collectible!
You won't actually be able to get Bombs until you get the Bomb Bag. Luckily, the Bomb Bag is inside an unmissable treasure chest on 2F of Dodongo's Cavern. Simply follow through the dungeon until you reach a room with platforms on fire, and you can deactivate them by shooting the glowing eyes with your Slingshot.
Eventually, you'll reach the Bomb Bag, and you'll need this item to continue through the Dodongo's Cavern dungeon, which you can find a full walkthrough for above!
Now that you have the Bomb Bag, you can return to Goron City and head to the bottom floor. At the cave entrance where you meet Darunia, you can look to your left to find a rock wall that can be blown up by picking up a nearby Bomb Flower.
