Amazon’s new AI note-taking hardware debuts with a wearable option

TL;DR Amazon has unveiled two new AI transcription devices under the Bee brand, called the Frontier and Eclipse.

The Frontier is a fitness band-style device that attaches to your wrist or clothing, while the Eclipse magnetically attaches to the back of a phone.

The Frontier is available now on Amazon, but the company didn’t provide a date for the Eclipse’s availability.

We got an early look at the Bee Pioneer at CES 2025 , an always-listening AI assistant that attaches to your wrist or clothes for conversation summaries and insights. Bee, which has since been acquired by Amazon, has now launched two new products, including a magnetically attaching device for your phone.

In a blog post published today, Amazon officially announced the Bee Frontier and Bee Eclipse. The Frontier follows last year’s Pioneer and includes an “ultra-soft” silicone band you can wear on your wrist or attach to a piece of clothing.
