Star Wars: Galactic Racer has four vehicle types: the Landspeeder, the Speeder Bike, the Skim Speeder, and the Podracer. The three you play in the campaign are the first three, with the Podracer only appearing in the arcade, multiplayer, or when you speak to Sebulba and relive memories.
Each vehicle behaves entirely differently, so each has its own learning curve. However, understanding each one makes racing much easier and can help you go further in the Galactic League.
Landspeeders are the first vehicles that you can race in the campaign, and are the most straightforward. They have generally middling speed, fine handling and reasonable durability. Landspeeders are the best way to learn the basics before moving on to other vehicles.
The Landspeeder doesn't have the best turning radius, so some tighter corners will require some drifting. This will kick out the tail, so it's easy to overcorrect and hit the wall. Save it for when you really need it; otherwise, you'll lose a lot of speed.
One of the biggest benefits to a Landspeeder is its durability. They can take more hits than other vehicles, so you don't need to focus your build as much on resilience unless, of course, you want to focus on battling during events.
Speeder Bikes are one of the faster options, but that comes at a severe decrease in handling . They're not exceptionally durable, so putting points into resilience will be key to surviving some of the bigger hits you'll take from opposing racers.
