Once Human is an MMO survival-crafting game at its core, but unlike most other games in the genre, this one offers a variety of different scenarios for players to enjoy. Instead of having one big sandbox, Once Human splits its gameplay features and mechanics across a variety of themed experiences, each with its own unique set of rules. This can be pretty overwhelming, especially for new players, so here's a guide that covers each of them.
You can join any scenario on any server they want, but if you have no existing characters, you'll always have to create a new one. If you do have an existing character, you can transfer them to a different server/scenario once your current scenario reaches its final phase, or by using an early exit card that you can get from events or the in-game Challenge shop (if available). You can retain some of your old gear through Eternaland.
All scenarios share the same basic gameplay mechanics like crafting, building, and Deviation collecting, but they have one or two things that are unique to them. For example, the Way of Winter features areas with extreme temperatures, forcing players to adapt with certain tools and specialized clothing. Meanwhile, Deviation: SCP drastically reduces the damage dealt by players' weapons, encouraging the use of Deviations as their main sources of damage.
This is the default Once Human experience that focuses on core gameplay mechanics . It's the perfect starting point for new players or those who want to enjoy a vanilla experience with no special quirks or gimmicks.
