Honasa elevates Vipul Maheshwari to CPTO

Honasa Consumer, the parent company of Mamaearth, has elevated Vipul Maheshwari to Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO), effective October 23, 2026.

Maheshwari was previously Executive Vice President of Product and Data and has been part of the company’s senior management. In his new role, he will oversee product, technology, engineering and analytics, with a focus on advancing the company’s AI-led transformation and agentic AI initiatives.

Maheshwari has spent the past six years building Honasa’s data and product capabilities. The company plans to develop AI-powered tools and workflows to automate tasks, improve operational efficiency and support faster decision-making across its beauty and personal care brands.

Honasa is also exploring agentic AI systems that can execute multi-step workflows and coordinate tasks with human oversight. The company aims to integrate these capabilities into everyday operations and scale their use across the organisation.

Before joining Honasa, Maheshwari held positions at logistics company Delhivery and Global Analytics India. He holds a master’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.

Founded by Varun and Ghazal Alagh, Honasa Consumer operates a portfolio of seven beauty and personal care brands. The company has built its business through digital channels and an omnichannel distribution network.
