Software-as-a-service company Freshworks has acquired Israel-based AI startup Robusta to strengthen its IT operations platform, Freshservice.
Robusta helps businesses identify the causes of technology outages and recommend fixes using AI-based incident investigation technology. The acquisition will bring these capabilities to Freshservice, Freshworks’ IT service management platform.
The deal is aimed at helping organisations investigate incidents, identify the underlying causes of IT disruptions and resolve issues more efficiently. The integration is expected to expand Freshservice’s AI-driven IT operations capabilities.
Nasdaq-listed SaaS firm Freshworks reported a 16% year-on-year increase in revenue to $237.4 million in the second quarter ended June 2026.
The company posted a GAAP net profit of $3.2 million in Q2 CY26, compared to a net loss of $1.7 million in the corresponding quarter last year.
