Revolut’s $115bn valuation raises global banking stakes

Revolut has concluded its most recent fundraising process, setting its valuation at $115bn as it pushes to turn a European success story into a bank operating on every major continent.

Five firms led the deal: Glade Brook Capital Partners, Coatue, Durable Capital Partners, T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. and Baillie Gifford.

Revolut said the round drew interest from investors who have supported the business for years as well as from global backers joining for the first time, with appetite driven by solid fundamentals and a fast-paced international rollout.

The deal lands during a period of heavy licensing activity for the group. Since January 2026, Revolut has opened banks in the UK, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand. It has also obtained banking licences in France, Colombia and Argentina, and received conditional approval from the OCC for a US charter. These moves add to banking operations Revolut already runs across 30 markets in the European Economic Area.

Financial results for 2025 show the scale behind the expansion. Revenue increased by 46% to $6bn (£4.5bn), while pre-tax profit rose 57% to $2.3bn (£1.7bn). As a result, the company’s pre-tax margin widened to 38%.

Revolut provides digital financial services to retail customers and currently operates as a licensed bank across multiple regions. Its longer-term ambition is to reach more than 100 million active customers in over 100 countries, and the company presents the new valuation as a marker of progress towards that target.

Revolut CEO and founder Nik Storonsky said, “Every bank we launch means more people get a better way to manage their money, wherever they live.
