Portage Mutual Insurance Adopts Kimputing’s CenterTest for Test Automation Ahead of Guidewire Cloud Migration

Kimputing Inc., a provider of test automation software for Guidewire® InsuranceSuite®, today announced that Portage Mutual Insurance (Portage Mutual) has adopted CenterTest™ to lay the foundation for test automation as it undergoes an internal quality transformation and gears up for its upcoming Guidewire Cloud migration. CenterTest will automate testing across Portage Mutual’s entire Guidewire InsuranceSuite and portal implementation, including Guidewire PolicyCenter®, BillingCenter®, ClaimCenter®, and ProducerEngage™.

CenterTest is a key component of our quality transformation strategy … enabl[ing] us to validate the system the way our users experience it, providing greater confidence in every release.”

Because CenterTest maintains version compatibility across Guidewire releases, Portage Mutual’s automated test suite will be ready for Guidewire Cloud on day one. Exavalu, Kimputing’s strategic delivery partner, is supporting the Kimputing-led project with embedded SDET resources. MutualCore, Kimputing’s strategic consulting partner for the Canadian market, brought CenterTest to Portage Mutual and provides oversight of the engagement.

“CenterTest is a key component of our quality transformation strategy and an important investment as we prepare for our Guidewire Cloud migration. By automating end-to-end testing across our core insurance applications, we can improve release quality, reduce manual effort, and allow our teams to focus more of their time on delivering value to the business and our broker partners.
