Twenty7tec, a mortgage and WealthTech software provider, has partnered with Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) Academy to explore new approaches to operational efficiency, communication and team collaboration in financial services.
In October, Twenty7tec employees took part in AUB Academy’s first Creative Away Day at the university’s Bournemouth campus. The programme used creative techniques to examine workplace challenges facing the business, including workload planning, communication between departments and employee motivation.
Led by Corinna Budnarowska, course leader for BA (Hons) Fashion at AUB, the session combined the Double Diamond design framework with practical exercises in creative writing and printmaking.
As financial technology providers look to improve how they develop and deliver services, internal processes and collaboration between teams remain important to business performance. Twenty7tec’s initiative explored how approaches drawn from outside the technology sector could help employees address operational challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
The partnership also highlights how WealthTech firms can look beyond technology itself to strengthen the teams and processes supporting their products and services.
Twenty7tec social media, PR and events manager Ellisha-Jade said, “It was fantastic to partner with Arts University Bournemouth and do something completely different for a day. Our teams spend so much of their time in the world of technology, finance and data, so having the opportunity to step away from usual routines and inject some creativity into the way we think, and work together was really refreshing.”
Twenty7tec talent development manager Gianluca Di Marco also said, “AUB facilitated a great day with initiatives that helped us think outside the box about our business challenges and provided us with great insights that would have been otherwise missed in the routine of our office.”
