OneClickComply bags £1m to automate cyber compliance

OneClickComply, a Sunderland, UK-based platform that automates cybersecurity certification, has closed a £1m investment, lifting its total funding beyond £2.4m.

The North East Accelerate Fund, overseen by Mercia Ventures, backed the round. The Venture Sunderland Fund and the Northstar EIS Growth Fund also took part, and both are run by Northstar Ventures.

The company will use the capital to develop its platform further, so that more compliance tasks can be completed without manual input. It will also expand its sales and customer success teams to support its growing customer base, and it expects to hire four new staff in the North East.

OneClickComply was founded in 2024 and now has 12 employees. Its clients range from major fast food brands as well as sole traders. The firm says it has doubled its monthly recurring revenue over the past six months and aims to double it again over the next six.

The platform handles up to 90% of the effort needed to achieve Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certification. It tracks a business’s IT systems on an ongoing basis, performs penetration testing and vulnerability management, drafts policy documents and collects the evidence auditors require.

Unlike tools that only flag weaknesses in a report, OneClickComply can apply the correct security configurations across Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and AWS in one click. After certification, it continues to monitor systems, so if settings change it can detect and correct the problem and keep the business compliant beyond the audit.

The North East Accelerate Fund invests up to £1m in early-stage businesses across the region.
