Slash Introduces Payment Processing to Help Merchants Facilitate Debit and Credit Card Payments

Slash Financial, Inc., the banking platform1 built for modern businesses, today launched payment processing to enable approved merchants banking with Slash to accept debit and credit card payments from customers. The feature is now available to qualifying users through two launch surfaces: native card acceptance in Slash Invoicing, and a Software Development Kit (SDK) for custom web checkout and payment flows.

The modern banking landscape frequently forces businesses to stitch together a business account, cards, invoicing, payment processing, and accounting tools, leading to incomplete or piecemeal understanding of the business’s financial health. Payment processing brings the entire operational lifecycle of payments inside a business’s Slash account, delivering a complete financial picture and more operational control.

Through payment processing, approved merchants can create a Slash invoice, enable card payment, and view the entire customer payment flow. They can also develop a custom merchant checkout using the Slash SDK, view invoice and SDK-originated payments in the same dashboard, issue partial refunds, track processed funds into Slash accounts and business spend, and receive a payment’s fee breakdown and connection to the appropriate invoice or receivables context.

“Operating a business in today’s environment requires complete visibility into the entire financial lifecycle,” said Andy Jiang, Head of Product at Slash.
