“As home improvement financing continues to evolve, responsible lending and regulatory compliance remain central to how we serve our customers and lending partners”

Bado previously practiced law at King & Spalding and, most recently, Troutman Pepper Locke, where he represented corporations and individuals in government investigations and enforcement actions, including in the financial services sector.

“As home improvement financing continues to evolve, responsible lending and regulatory compliance remain central to how we serve our customers and lending partners,” said Timothy Bado. “Momnt is committed to making financing simple and accessible for merchants and their customers, and my role is to make sure our legal and compliance programs support that commitment as we scale.”

In addition to his role as Senior Legal Counsel, Bado will lead Momnt’s compliance function. His appointment comes as Momnt grows its embedded lending platform, ensuring strong regulatory compliance and risk management.

“Tim has been a trusted partner to our leadership team since joining Momnt,” said Tom Anderson, CEO of Momnt. “He understands our business, our lending partners, and the regulatory landscape we operate in, and his expert guidance has been central to our strategic initiatives.
