Model ML has expanded its presence in the global financial services sector after BDO India introduced its AI platform into live client engagements, adding another major advisory firm to a customer base that includes PwC and Deloitte.
The adoption follows two major deployments earlier in 2026. PwC began a global rollout of AI agents developed alongside Model ML in July, while Deloitte entered a multi-year agreement to use specialist agents for document review, due diligence and transaction analysis.
The partnerships come as major accounting and consulting firms increase their investment in artificial intelligence. More than $10bn has been committed to AI by the largest firms since 2023, with many expanding employee access to advanced models. However, integrating these tools into everyday client work requires more than simply making AI available to staff. Businesses must also determine which models are best suited to individual tasks, provide the right information and context, check the accuracy of outputs and ensure the results meet their existing delivery requirements.
Model ML’s platform is designed to manage these processes for financial and professional services firms. It distributes work across models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and open-source providers, using its proprietary Model ML Composite benchmark to assess performance on financial services tasks. The system evaluates models based on accuracy, latency and cost, allowing firms to select the most appropriate option for each job rather than relying on a single AI provider.
For BDO India, the implementation was built around existing due diligence processes and client deliverables. This allowed teams to identify opportunities to automate manual work without having to replace established workflows or significantly change how they operate.
