Mave’s $34m bet to end the SOC integration bottleneck

Mave, a developer of agentic security operations technology, has emerged from stealth with $34m in total funding, as it looks to reshape how large enterprises coordinate their defences against cyber threats.

The capital comprises a $28m Series A, led by Red Dot Capital Partners with backing from Lumir Growth Partners, alongside an earlier $6m seed round headed by Dell Technologies Capital and Emerge Ventures.

The business plans to put the money towards deeper AI research, a broader enterprise platform and international expansion, and expects to more than double its headcount, with recruitment concentrated on AI research and go-to-market roles.

Mave is already deployed in over 200 security operations centres (SOCs). Its customers include Fortune 200 firms and global managed security service providers, and the platform runs in regulated financial and healthcare settings.

During live attacks, it has supported containment by isolating affected systems, disabling compromised identities and stopping malicious activity.

The firm converts the security tools an organisation already owns into a single agentic defence system covering threat intelligence, hunting, investigations, detection engineering and response. Rather than requiring telemetry to be migrated into a central database, its agents query each connected system in its native language, pull live context and adjust as new evidence appears.

When a fresh attack campaign surfaces, Mave can gauge its relevance to a company’s technologies, assets and identities, search for related activity, investigate findings and help convert validated results into detections or approved responses. Security teams can also pose questions in plain language.
