KOHO Partners with LoanPro to Power Its Next Generation of Products for Canadians

LoanPro, the modern lending and credit platform, announced a partnership with KOHO, one of Canada’s leading financial technology companies, to enable innovative new products for KOHO’s members. LoanPro’s API-first platform will serve as a core part of the infrastructure behind these offerings, giving KOHO the flexibility to design, launch and scale new products on its own terms.

“We chose LoanPro for the flexibility to bring new products to market quickly and responsibly,” said Rusen Baragiola, Chief Product Officer, KOHO.

KOHO will continue to own the member experience in its mobile app and the design of its products. LoanPro will support the underlying billing, servicing and reporting, so KOHO’s team can focus on what its members see and use.

“At KOHO, we’re building fundamentally different products that help Canadians make real financial progress, and that requires infrastructure that moves as fast as we do,” said Rusen Baragiola, Chief Product Officer, KOHO. “We chose LoanPro for the flexibility to bring new products to market quickly and responsibly.”

The Canadian market has its own requirements, including provincial rules such as those in Québec. LoanPro’s configurable platform gives KOHO room to tailor its products to the Canadian market and the rules that apply to its members.

“KOHO has earned the trust of millions of Canadians by making money simpler, and we are proud to be the foundation behind what they build next,” said Rhett Roberts, CEO and co-founder of LoanPro.
