Huawei Cloud has launched CodeArts Agent commercially in Singapore to automate engineering tasks through 16 specialised AI agents.
Built for complex, large-scale projects, the tool supports code generation, technical queries and automated unit testing.
Its agents cover the development lifecycle from requirements analysis and architecture design to coding, testing, troubleshooting and code review.
CodeArts Agent also includes more than 30 reusable engineering skills based on Huawei’s software practices.
It can understand and retrieve code across tens of millions of lines, providing the project context needed to extend and update existing systems.
Users can access the tool through AI-native integrated development environments, plugins, and command-line and text-based interfaces.
It also provides management and security controls for organisations adding AI agents to existing workflows.
“Huawei Cloud will continue to deepen its presence in Singapore, advancing our Agentic AI strategy through closer integration of software and hardware, while building a comprehensive technology stack spanning AIDC, Agentic Infrastructure, Model as a Service (MaaS), and agent development platforms.
Together, these capabilities will provide a robust ‘Silicon-Based Black Soil’ foundation for enterprise AI innovation.”
He added that the company plans to introduce more agent products and services in Singapore and across the wider Asia-Pacific market.
Eligible enterprise users will receive three months of free access to the Professional Edition, along with one-on-one coaching from local experts and other enablement services.
