Honey Badger Launches Risk Playbooks, Letting Fraud and Risk Teams Build and Deploy Live Risk Journeys Without Writing Code

Honey Badger HQ, Inc., the risk and identity intelligence platform serving fintechs and lenders, announced the launch of Risk Playbooks, a visual builder that lets fraud and risk teams design, deploy and update live risk workflows without writing code.

With Risk Playbooks, a team can choose its data sources, set the logic and scoring that connect them, and publish the result as a single API, complete with documentation, in a matter of minutes. Changes made in the builder go live the moment they are saved, so risk strategies can keep pace with fraud instead of waiting on the next development sprint.

Most fintechs and lenders rely on a growing stack of identity, fraud and credit data providers. Stitching those sources together into one decision has traditionally meant months of engineering work, custom integrations for every vendor, and a queue of change requests each time the fraud picture shifts. The people who understand the risk are rarely the people who can change the system.

Risk Playbooks closes that gap. Using a drag-and-drop canvas, a risk analyst can orchestrate checks across Honey Badger’s network of 150+ data sources, decide which checks run and in what order, apply business rules and scoring, and define what a pass, refer or decline looks like. Honey Badger then generates a dedicated API endpoint and documentation tailored to exactly what was built, so engineering teams integrate once and never have to touch it again.
