Greenboard, an AI-native system of action for SEC and FINRA compliance, has unveiled GreenboardGo2.0, which it describes as the first AI harness designed specifically for compliance teams.
The company is positioning the release as the start of a new product category that could reshape how regulated firms run their compliance programmes.
The new offering extends GreenboardGo, the conversational AI layer the firm rolled out in May, and now operates across the entire Greenboard platform. Compliance teams can query, configure and automate any element of their programme from a single point, with each action captured in a WORM-based, 17a-4 compliant record.
GreenboardGo2.0 also integrates with Slack, Teams, Claude and ChatGPT, giving users access to more than 240 Greenboard tools via MCP. All activity is confined to permissions defined by the compliance team, and human approval is required before any output is finalised.
According to Greenboard, foundation models cannot handle compliance tasks on their own, because the work relies on accessing the correct policy, record, tool and individual at the appropriate moment.
A harness bridges that gap, adding firm-specific context, guardrails and an audit trail that examiners can trace. Rather than shipping a fixed feature set like conventional platforms, GreenboardGo2.0 lets teams assemble bespoke agents, choosing the trigger, the context, the sequence of actions and the precise stage at which a person must approve.
Alongside the launch, Greenboard has released a fiduciary commitment structured around six principles: loyalty, care, candour, supervision, agency and continuity. Under this pledge, GreenboardGo serves only the firm deploying it, Greenboard will not sell firm data, and clients can take their data with them on request.
