UK vehicle leasing and fleet management provider Jurni Leasing has partnered with connected mobility specialist Targa Telematics to introduce manufacturer vehicle data and AI-powered insights into its fleet management services.
The agreement will see Targa Telematics integrate original equipment manufacturer (OEM) data into Jurni Leasing’s fleet management platform, Jurni 360. The technology draws on Targa’s partnerships with more than 45 vehicle manufacturers and will support Jurni’s customer base of around 31,000 businesses and organisations.
Jurni 360 already provides a central view of fleet, driver and vehicle information. The addition of connected vehicle data will give customers more detailed insight into vehicle performance, maintenance requirements and day-to-day fleet operations.
A key objective is to help customers move from reactive repairs towards preventative maintenance. By identifying potential faults earlier, fleet managers can address issues before they result in breakdowns or vehicles being taken off the road.
The platform will also support service, maintenance and repair (SMR) planning, warranty compliance and mileage monitoring. AI-powered analysis will help identify patterns in vehicle data and prioritise maintenance tasks, potentially reducing downtime, improving operational efficiency and extending vehicle lifespans.
The agreement will cover a varied fleet, from small and medium-sized businesses to larger operators. Jurni Leasing also manages around 3,000 school minibuses, where vehicle availability and maintenance scheduling are particularly important.
Targa Telematics has more than 25 years of experience developing connected mobility and digital vehicle management platforms. Its services include insurance telematics, asset management, remote diagnostics and airport vehicle management, serving rental companies, financial services providers and large fleet operators.
