FileInvite Launches New Platform, Making Multi-Party Collaboration and Servicing a Core Part of Document Collection for Complex Lending

FileInvite, the secure document collection platform built for complex lending and financial services workflows, announced the official launch of a fully rebuilt platform designed for the multi-party document workflows that define SBA, commercial real estate, and other complex commercial lending. Announced at the NAGGL Annual Conference, the new platform marks a shift from general document collection to the operational backbone of the full lending document lifecycle.

The launch comes as SBA lending grows more documentation-intensive. According to Coleman Report, the median SBA 7(a) loan now takes 21 days to fund after approval, a 31% increase since fiscal year 2024, driven by more documentation, closing conditions, and third-party work. With the SBA introducing another round of tighter underwriting requirements for fiscal year 2027, lending teams are being asked to collect, verify, and track more documents across more parties on every loan.

The rebuilt FileInvite platform becomes the operational backbone of the full lending document lifecycle.

The launch makes collaboration a core part of the document collection workflow, starting with Invite Sharing, a new capability that lets separate organizations work from a single, shared document request. Multiple teams see the same requests, the same documents, and the same real-time status, so there are no forwarding attachments, re-requesting files, or reconciling two versions of the same loan file. The originating lender stays in control of the invite, and every upload, review, and approval is captured in one timestamped audit trail that supports SBA and regulatory compliance requirements.

The capability is built for the partnerships that complex lending depends on: banks, SBA 7(a) lending, LSPs and CDCs coordinating SBA 504 loan packages, lead lenders sharing files with loan participants, brokers handing off complete borrower files to lenders, and lending teams working alongside outside counsel through closing.
