DCS DeCard Launches Corporate Cards for Businesses in Hong Kong

DCS DeCard has become a Mastercard issuer in Hong Kong and is launching a corporate card and spend management platform for mid-market and enterprise businesses.

Named DeCard Business Account, the platform launches first in Hong Kong and lets companies issue Mastercard corporate cards and manage spending in one place.

The platform supports both employee and operational expenditure, including business travel, advertising, media buying and procurement. It also handles expenses, billing, invoices and statements.

At launch, the corporate cards will be denominated and funded in USD. According to the company, this gives businesses a single USD balance for spending across markets on Mastercard’s global acceptance network.

Over time, the company plans to expand the platform into more markets and add treasury account management.

Its longer-term aim is to combine corporate spending and treasury management in a single platform.
Powered by DCS Group, DCS DeCard provides card and payments infrastructure.

With this launch, it is also offering a platform that businesses can use directly. Partners building and operating their own card programmes can continue to use its Cards-as-a-Service (CaaS) offering.

The company said the expansion builds on DCS Group’s more than 50 years of experience in payments.

“Becoming a Mastercard issuer in Hong Kong marks an important milestone for DCS DeCard as we expand our card issuing capabilities and bring new solutions directly to businesses,”

“As companies increasingly operate across borders, they need efficient, secure and scalable payment solutions that help their teams manage spending with greater visibility and flexibility,”

said Helena Chen, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Hong Kong and Macau at Mastercard.
