The automaker is evaluating cost increases across its supply chain before deciding on potential price hikes, with no immediate revision confirmed.
The automaker also plans to ramp up production from January to improve vehicle availability and expects positive growth in FY27.
Amid ongoing supply chain uncertainties, automakers, including Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM), are closely monitoring the situation, with the company indicating the possibility of price hikes . The price correction will be based on the extent of cost increases across suppliers and components, Sabari Manohar, EVP, Sales-Service-Used Car, told ETAuto on the sidelines of the Glanza Facelift launch. The move is in line with a series of price increases across the Indian automotive industry , including Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai India and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, which have taken as many as three price hikes in 2026. “Input cost definitely will cause us stress and that needs to be carefully studied in terms of meeting the market requirement and sharing it across. So definitely I can say the input cost has been uniformly increasing for all the other OEMs as well. We closely see the market and see how we can rationalise it and pass it on. So it's striking the right balance at this point,” Manohar said. However, the company did not disclose whether it plans a near-term price hike. “Price revisions are not something we plan at a fixed interval. We make adjustments from time to time, depending on changes in the cost of individual components, suppliers and parts.
