Ola Electric hosts about 150 dealer partners at its first Dealer Day at the Giga Factory and Future Factory

Mumbai, October 09, 2026: Ola Electric hosted about 150 dealer partners from across the country at its first Dealer Day, held at the Giga Factory and Future Factory today. Many of the partners already have stores open, and others are about to. Chairman and Managing Director Bhavish Aggarwal shared photos from the event on X, praising the enthusiasm and optimism in the room. The dealers toured the facilities, where Ola builds its scooters and key components like battery packs and motors, and met directly with the leadership team.

The company announced in August 2026 that it was opening its sales and service network to dealer partners across India, moving away from the company-owned store model it had used since 2021. Company stores will now focus on brand and product experience, and dealers will handle local sales and service, backed by Ola’s base of over 1 million riders. On Janmashtami, Ola Electric’s first batch of dealer stores went live across seven states: Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Bihar, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

Former Hyundai Motor India President BVR Subbu was also roped in as Senior Advisor in August 2026 to support this transition.

Ola Electric Mobility Limited is a leading electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer in India, specializing in the vertical integration of technology and manufacturing for EVs and their components, including battery cells. Operations are centered around the Ola Future factory, where production of EVs and critical components like battery packs, motors, and vehicle frames are undertaken. Ola’s R&D efforts span India, the UK, and the US, focusing on innovation in EV products and core components.
