The company recorded its highest-ever quarterly total sales volume of 696,654 units in Q2 FY27.

The automaker posted record quarterly sales of 6.97 lakh units, while domestic passenger vehicle market share rose to 40.8 per cent.

Maruti Suzuki India on Tuesday reported a 26.36 per cent year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit to ₹2,466.1 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, as higher input costs weighed on profitability despite a rise in revenue and vehicle sales. The automaker had reported a consolidated net profit of ₹3,349 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, according to the company. The company’s revenue from operations increased 26 per cent year on year to ₹53,355.5 crore in Q2 FY27, compared with ₹42,344.2 crore in the same quarter last year. Advt

Maruti Suzuki said its operating profit (EBIT) stood at ₹2,803.7 crore during the quarter, compared with ₹3,382 crore in Q2 FY26. The company attributed the decline to higher commodity prices linked to the West Asia conflict. On a sequential basis, operating profit increased 10.8 per cent from Q1 FY27. The company also said non-operating income declined during the quarter due to mark-to-market losses on invested surplus.

5 per cent increase over the year-ago period. Domestic passenger vehicle sales growth was led by small cars and SUVs.
