Li Auto to launch 2026 Li i6 on October 28, deliveries to start in early November

Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI) will hold a launch event for the 2026 Li i6 on October 28, with test drives and orders opening immediately afterward, and deliveries in China scheduled to begin in early November.

The Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker announced the launch schedule for the all-electric SUV on Weibo on Friday, less than a week before the model arrives in stores for display.

Display vehicles of the 2026 Li i6 will arrive at Li Auto's 485 stores in China on October 11, allowing customers to view the model in person.

The following day, the model will appear at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. Li Auto describes it as the company's first all-electric global model, and its European version will be shown under the Li 6 name.

Li Auto said test drives and orders will open immediately after the October 28 launch event, with deliveries to start in early November. The company has not yet announced pricing for the new model.

The timeline confirms the adjusted plan Li Auto announced on September 23. At the time, the company pushed back the launch from late September to late October while keeping early November deliveries unchanged, saying the move was intended to shorten the wait between placing an order and taking delivery.

The 2026 Li i6 will be equipped with Li Auto's in-house developed 5C battery and Mach driver-assistance chip, as part of the company's push to expand the use of in-house core components.

According to earlier regulatory filings, the new model will be offered in single-motor and dual-motor all-wheel-drive versions, retaining the existing design language while adopting semi-hidden door handles.
