Hyundai aims to set new mobility trends in India with AI, differentiated products
MD and CEO Tarun Garg says Hyundai aims to anticipate consumer preferences through AI-led features and differentiated products, with the Bayon and Creta targeting combined annual volumes of 250,000 units in FY28.

64 million units, according to SIAM data. The company is entering a new product lifecycle, with three new SUVs on the horizon. The newly-launched Bayon is central to this push. HMIL is positioning it as a 'trend catalyst,' soon to be followed by a brand-new EV developed from the ground up for the Indian market and the next-generation Creta, slated to launch in 2027. Hyundai is targeting combined annual volumes of 250,000 units for the Creta and Bayon in FY28, positioning the two models as complementary offerings for different consumer preferences in the fast-growing mid-size SUV segment.
