E-con Systems demonstrates AI-based numberplate recognition and real-time pedestrian detection

E-con Systems will exhibit its Edge AI ALPR camera and turret camera solutions at Vision 2026, which will run from October 6-8, 2026, at Messe Stuttgart, Germany, demonstrating AI-based numberplate recognition and real-time pedestrian detection in designated risk zones.

The solutions integrate with E-con Systems’ ITS software suite and CloVis Central, its cloud-based device-management platform for remote device and evidence management. The combined system is designed to support scalable deployments for traffic monitoring and enforcement.

“As vision systems take on more demanding roles in robots and vehicles, image quality alone is not enough,” said E-con Systems president Ashok Babu.
