In the Spanish cities of Barcelona and Seville, mobility company Cabify is deploying 200 new Skoda Elroq vehicles. 120 of these models have already been in operation in Madrid since 2025. As part of the 2030 decarbonization plan, all of Cabify's vehicles are set to be emission-free.
Cabify is a Spanish mobility service provider that, like Uber, uses an app to arrange rides with private cars and taxis. Founded in 2011, the company operates primarily in Spain and Latin America. Škoda has now announced the delivery of 200 new Elroq models to the company. These vehicles are intended for Vecttor, Cabify’s Spanish subsidiary, which is electrifying its fleet to advance its 2030 Decarbonisation Plan throughout its services.
With the delivery of the 200 new Elroq vehicles, Škoda is building the brand’s largest electric vehicle fleet in Spain to date. The electric cars will be deployed in Barcelona and Seville, where they will replace a significant portion of the existing fleet in the Andalusian capital. Combined with the 120 units of the same model already delivered for the Madrid location, Cabify’s fleet will now grow to a total of 320 Škoda Elroq vehicles.
The model in use is the Škoda Elroq 85 Selection, equipped with an 82-kWh battery and a WLTP range of approximately 570 kilometres. In urban traffic, the electric car should have a range of up to 720 kilometres. The Elroq 85 charges at up to 175 kW, reaching 80 per cent from 10 per cent in 29 minutes, and features a heat pump.
