Zara Larsson Cycles Through Five Looks in 24 Hours With Heels Straight From the 2000s Going-out Playbook

For her New York outings and Seth Meyers appearance, the singer paired archival fashion with platforms, feathers and crystal-covered sandals.

Zara Larsson packed five looks into 24 hours in New York, with enough platforms, strappy sandals and distressed denim to outfit a few nights out in the 2000s. Between Wednesday and Thursday, the “Midnight Sun” singer moved from feather-trimmed archival heels to crystal-covered sandals and strap-heavy platforms.

For her Sept. 23 interview on “Late Night With Seth Meyers,” Larsson wore Helmut Lang sandals from the brand’s spring 2000 collection, sourced from Artifact New York. Thin pink straps crossed her toes, while bright feathers sprouted from the backs above slender heels.

A cream Simon Carle lace minidress, pale blue ribbon choker and Swarovski hoops completed the look, leaving the hot-pink feathers at her heels to do most of the color work.

Earlier in the day, she went full 2000s with pink platform sandals and distressed Abercrombie & Fitch jeans.

Larsson wore them with a pink silk halter top from Versace’s spring 2004 collection — exactly the kind of “going out” top that defined the early 2000s — and a sparkling belt slung low across her hips.

The next day, Larsson swapped pink for acid green but stayed firmly in the 2000s. She wore a Blumarine butterfly crystal choker with a cropped zebra-print tank top in a bright green hue, carried a matching Casablanca Bowling mini bag and added another pair of heavily distressed jeans, this time ripped open at the knees.
