The Blumarine spring 2027 show featured exclusive romantic Ugg styles on the runway.
The Ugg fall 2026 collection just got a romantic transformation thanks to Blumarine, which put the Southern California brand’s shoes on its spring 2027 runway in Milan.
For spring 2027, Blumarine is delving into California heritage, merging femininity and a playful approach to texture. In this realm, Ugg’s well-known codes are reimagined in an unexpected meeting of California ease and Italian glamour.
The new Ugg Enwrap clog takes center stage for the partnership, redone exclusively for the runway. The silhouette is framed by a silver-galvanized metal embellishment recalling a cage, nodding to the collection’s jewelry and encrusted with cabochon stones in crystal, pink and multicolor.
Another version of the shoe is embellished with ostrich feathers in natural white and light lavender.
David Koma, creative director of Blumarine, said in a statement, “I loved the idea of bringing the effortless attitude of Ugg into Blumarine’s distinctive world, where femininity and glamour often emerge in unexpected ways. These custom pieces are all about juxtaposition: delicate details meeting a more relaxed spirit, and a familiar shape reinterpreted through our own language. There is something instinctive and full of character about the result, and I’m very proud of how naturally these two identities came together.”
The new Enwrap clog, seen on Emily Ratajkowski in Ugg’s “Born to Feel” campaign, is a slip-on style featuring suede wrapping around a low platform to create an aesthetic of clean lines.
Sandra Salibian reviewed the Blumarine spring 2027 show for WWD, writing of David Koma’s California-inspired collection, “The designer satiated his hunger for drama with a profusion of minidresses rich in feathers and crystal embellishments, as well as statement tulle pieces, with iterations going from Irina Shayk’s modern princess-y ruffled black gown that opened the show and its baby blue version popping up on a dozen models afterward to tiered tulle skirts in powdery hues worn with Y2K-heavy varsity shirts to lilac and yellow skirts whose allover ruched constructions evoked Blumarine’s distinctive roses.”
