Rosalía Creates an Optical Illusion With Ballet Flats That Are Actually Hiding the Tiniest Kitten Heel

Rosalía keeps one particular unique shoe style in rotation that she often pairs with her dressed-down, street-style looks. While out in New York on Tuesday, the singer showed off a pair of shoes that looked like ballerina flats from the front, but were revealed to have a tiny kitten heel when she turned to the side.

The shoes in question are the Abra Kitten Spike Ballerina shoes. The shoes feature a distinctive studded multistrap design across the vamp. Each shoe has four straps, to be exact, with each one featuring a different style of metal hardware, varying from spikes to studs to buckles.

The black, glossy leather shoes feature a soft round toe with a dainty decorative bow at the vamp. While they follow the same silhouette as a traditional ballerina flat, the shoes stand on a minuscule kitten heel measuring around one inch.

The heel is barely tall enough to lift the foot off the ground and can only be seen from the side view of the shoe. They originally retailed for $760 but are now sold out. The Parisian brand currently offers them in brown for $532.

The “Malamente” singer brought London Fashion Week to New York City by wearing a fresh-off-the-runway spring 2027 dress by Erdem with the micro heels. The delicate dress provided a contrast to her edgy shoes with its draped blush-pink satin design, which also included an ostrich-feather pannier.

Rosalía was recently spotted at Paris Fashion Week , wearing more brand-new spring 2027 shoe styles.
