Rita Ora Honors Dolly Parton in Push-Up Bra and Gucci Horsebit Heels

While attending a Halloween party on Friday night, Ora appeared in a Dolly Parton outfit complete with vibrant red pumps well-suited to the late singer’s style.

On Friday night, Rita Ora stepped out in New York City to attend the annual Frankie Shop’s Halloween party dressed up as the late Dolly Parton. The recently deceased country music singer was known for her dramatic style, and Ora did Parton justice with her look. She appeared in a crop top, jeans, a studded red belt, and a pair of Gucci Donna Horsebit patent leather pumps.

Parton, who died this August at 80 after a brief battle with cancer, was known for over-the-top outfits and heavy makeup. Ora’s look was an excellent depiction of the late singer. She wore a blue button down shirt tied at the waist with an icy blue pushup bra visible underneath, the bra’s shade a perfect match for Ora’s heavily-applied eyeshadow.

She paired the top with classic blue jeans and a thick studded belt in the same vibrant shade of red as her Gucci heels. Ora’s shoes featured a sharply pointed toe, stiletto heel, and, of course, the eponymous golden horesbit hard-wear over the vamp.

The look may have been directly inspired by Parton’s 2008 song “Backwoods Barbie.” In the single from the album of the same name, Parton proclaims her fondness for wearing “a push-up bra and heels,” defending her often ostentatious style as “just a country girl’s idea of glam.”

The kind of bright, nearly gaudy colors and noticeable footwear Ora sported were par for the course for Parton, whose death triggered many fashionable tributes this fall among the singer’s legions of celebrity fans.
