RetailMeNot Marks 20 Years With Cash Back Event

RetailMeNot has launched its annual National Cash Back Day event, running through Nov. 7. Marking the company’s 20th anniversary and the start of the holiday shopping season, the event offers members up to 30 percent cash back at more than 3,500 retailers, including major brands like Walmart, Ulta, SharkNinja and Gap.

The promotion comes as consumers increasingly shift toward earlier holiday purchasing. RetailMeNot’s 2026 survey reveals nearly two-thirds of shoppers begin buying gifts in October or earlier. Participating merchants are featuring enhanced rates during the event, including up to 22 percent back at LG and up to 20 percent back at Dyson, CVS, Expedia and Hotels.com.

The event also features “Appy Hour,” which is a limited-time flash window in the RetailMeNot Rewards app offering boosted cash back rates such as 30 percent at SharkNinja and 20 percent at Walmart weeks ahead of traditional sales days like Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

“Holiday shopping is already a major expense for families, and this year, the cost of getting home to celebrate is adding even more pressure,” said Mackenzie Shand, shopping expert and executive editor at RetailMeNot. “At RetailMeNot, we’ve spent 20 years helping people make their money go further. This National Cash Back Day, we’re not only bringing shoppers some of the biggest cash back opportunities of the season, but also giving them the chance to turn their holiday shopping into a trip home. It’s all about helping shoppers get more out of every dollar they spend.”

Payments could run through 2034 as 3M reshapes its factory network and works to eliminate remaining PFAS uses.
