Oracle has launched Fusion Claw, a platform for its Fusion Agentic Applications that allows AI systems to carry out complex business tasks autonomously. Twenty-five Claw-powered applications are available at launch.
The product targets finance, human resources, supply chain and sales operations, where AI agents can be assigned tasks such as workforce planning, financial investigations, shipping optimisation and sales territory modelling under defined controls.
Fusion Claw is part of Oracle's broader push into so-called agentic AI, software intended to do more than answer prompts or support individual workers. Oracle describes these applications as tools for completing business outcomes, with people setting objectives, authority and approval thresholds while the software manages the process.
The new runtime combines AI reasoning with deterministic computation, separating planning and decision-making from high-volume execution. Oracle said this structure allows organisations to use large language models where judgement is needed while relying on conventional enterprise computation for repeatable processing.
The launch expands Oracle's existing range of agentic applications, bringing its total portfolio to 75 applications that can coordinate and execute end-to-end business processes.
A central element of the product is a governance framework designed to control how autonomous actions are carried out. Each process operates inside what Oracle calls an Enterprise Operating Envelope, which covers policies, permissions, risk thresholds, approval requirements and escalation boundaries.
The framework is enforced through what Oracle calls an Outcome Trust Harness, which applies identity, data, access and action controls to each task. At the end of a process, the system produces an Outcome Receipt that records the authority applied, evidence used, decisions made, actions executed and the final result, according to Oracle.
