Nehera Spring 2027: Swan Dive

The brand brought together ballet and '70s vacation references, for a collection of soft tailoring and easy co-ed separates.

For spring, Nehera found commonality in Tchaikovsky’s “Swan Lake” and the languid atmosphere of a 1970s holiday at Hungary’s Lake Balaton, also known as the Lake of Swans.

Cue a collection in which construction was hidden under the ease of resort dressing.

The swan theme appeared most clearly in the clothes’ curved, organic silhouettes. Jackets came with rounded shoulders and soft sleeves, with folds and internal structures at the elbow creating feather-like pleats and volume.

One linen jacket could be buttoned high to change its silhouette; another, elongated and ’70s-inspired, was softened by relaxed tailoring. A two-piece dress paired a simple column underneath with a sculptural top that could be removed, while scoop-back dresses and fluid, draped pieces added a beach-y touch. Lyocell and linen lent movement, while a lightweight wool-and-silk seersucker held its shape.

The palette reflected the graphic black and white of the Swan Lake ballet, then loosened into misty blues, khakis, sandy neutrals and soft greens. Paprika and cherry reds provided jolts of color, inspired by the blow-up mattresses of a lake holiday. A fading floral print used on a shift dress recalled the sunset over the lake, and was used on a soft suit for men, too.

Silky, loose suiting felt a little bit louche and in line with the current pajama dressing trend, while a terry cloth wrap-pant gave off a chic post-swim vibe.

The brand is all about “functional comfort,” said chief executive officer Ladislav Zdút.
