Michael Jordan’s Most Popular Air Jordan Is Getting a Brand-new Colorway Exclusively for Kids

A first look at the Air Jordan 4 Retro "Hang Time" sneaker set to be released in 2027.

With the women’s-exclusive Air Jordan 4 Retro Linen set to return in 2027 after more than 20 years and a brand-new “Spotlight” Air Jordan 4 also on the way in women’s sizing, a first look has surfaced at yet another upcoming exclusive style of Michael Jordan’s fourth signature sneaker — but only kids and those will smaller feet will be able to wear this one.

The kid’s-exclusive Air Jordan 4 Retro “Hang Time” is scheduled to arrive at retail in February and ahead of the launch, official e-commerce images from JD Sports have surfaced.

The photos show a full look at the upcoming Deep Royal Blue/Black colorway, which also blends in portions of light ice blue and infrared accents. Aside from its new colorway, the Hang Time style features a number of unique details including a Jumpman logo surrounded by clouds on the tongue and insole, the former of which includes a removable Velcro patch reminiscent of the Air Jordan 4’s various Rare Air makeups.

Along with this kid’s Hang Time colorway and the aforementioned women’s Linen and Spotlight styles, there’s plenty of other Air Jordan 4 output on the horizon next year. Most notable is the return of the sneaker’s original Fire Red colorway, and there’s also Georgetown , Jackie Robinson and Bloodline-themed looks lined up for 2027.
