PARIS — L’Oréal is now the official beauty partner of the Paris Saint-Germain soccer club, unlocking new partnerships for its brands, beginning with Vichy Laboratoires.
The tie-in between the world’s largest beauty company and reigning two-time UEFA Champions League winner will last through 2028, and is the first of its kind for L’Oréal. It is meant to celebrate performance, innovation and the power of teamwork.
L’Oréal and PSG have other similarities, too. They are both from Paris and the Paris region, were founded in the French capital and are now leaders in their fields.
PSG is the most successful soccer club in French history and is one of the leading sports organizations. It has more than 250 million followers on social media.
L’Oréal is present in over 150 countries and employs 15,000 people in France and more than 90,000 worldwide.
“At Paris Saint-Germain and at L’Oréal, performance and innovation are driven by the strength of a team united behind a common ambition,” L’Oréal said in a statement. “The two organizations share the same way of working: constantly striving for progress, paying close attention to every detail and continuously raising the standards of their respective industries.”
The partnership will include several of L’Oréal’s brands, starting with Vichy Laboratoires, which has become the official skin care and hair care partner of the Paris Saint-Germain men’s first team.
The tie-in melding top athletic performance and dermatological science has integrative health as its overarching focus.
